I had to link and write about this blog All for Christy today.
I have to admit, with all the problems lately I’m not much into posting on this blog. I do just need a break and am going to give my son some time to see if he can restore it to its former self before I put in more time to get it back to how it was.
So what is it about this blog for Christy? It is an example of good this world. What a contrast to the type of person who spends time and talent hacking into other people’s sites. The creator of Christy’s blog, Mike did it out of the goodness of his heart for his wife’s friend. The mom of this sick child is dedicated to her family and is a hard worker. Reading what she has gone through in this post puts things in perspective. The post doesn’t say much about the dad, but I’m sure he has his struggles as well.
Yesterday I got up, put the hacking and the lost time behind me and wrote an article for Mike to use for a site he’s setting up to bring in some income for this family. My trouble is a drop in the ocean compared to Christy’s family’s trouble. No matter what happens, this family will need help even if Christy is no longer with them. My prayer is that people continue to contribute even if Christy looses her latest fight, this family deserves it.
I work in group homes and have taken care of residents who are like Christy. I have had a son who survived cancer. This situation touches my heart in a special way, because I can relate to so much with them, yet also so little.
Good balances out evil! I can’t help but pray fot the hackers that have caused me trouble the past month. I pray that they discover how much good they could do with their skills, and choose good. I pray they learn the easy way.

I’ll try to have prices and links to my writing back soon.
I’m am so tired of spending so much time with being hacked and down time and loosing my work. I backed up (from the cpanel) and can’t get any of it restored, even with the reseller hosting company’s help.
I have to admit, I’m rather discouraged for the first time. Two days glued to the computer thinking at any minute I’ll get it fixed, and nothing, just going in circles after awhile. I finally admitted defeat and took a break. I finally ate and went back to work moving stuff around in my new home office.
The past month has been filled with down time and now being hacked twice. I changed hosting companies a month ago, so that could be part of it. The guy is a great guy, but maybe I need to let him work things out and come back when he doesn’t have so many problems. About a week ago, I wrote three articles and paid to have them posted in several blogs. They had links to this site and to the group home site. There were links to two different articles in two different blogs. Those are the articles the hacker linked to, I don’t think it’s a coincidence. I requested my articles be removed.
I don’t know how to remove the back links from the hacker, I hate seeing them there. What is so very funny is this blog gets a dozen or less visitors a day! I think the problems are more from the change in hosting though.
There was an updated version of WP available, but it suggested I backup my blog before I upgraded. I didn’t do it
I actually thought I might loose something and just didn’t want to deal with it, so put it off. It’s like my dripping shower. I was afraid to fix it because I thought with it being an older house, a simple task would turn into a bigger project with older pipes. Well after paying the higher water bill for half a year, I fixed it and with no problems! Fear to move can be costly!
Bob Schmuck was very encouraging and it helped a lot to have his encouragement. He reminded me tojust move forward from here, instead of going in circles in the same place. He will be trying to come over this weekend to see if he can restore my backups, some how or at least give me access so I can replace stuff. So for now, this is blog starts new!
The hacker got into WP and even when most of my blog got restored, I was locked out of my own WP account.Last time it was easy to find good in the hacking. I got my blog restored with only a few posts missing. This time it’s not so easy to see the upside, I can’t even try to look right now. I will find it though, for now I just don’t have the energy!
