Page rank is important to site statistics. Especially for the beginner, it may take time to climb up the ranks. Work on some immediate more attainable goals. SEO (search engine optimization) should be an immediate focus.

While working on and waiting for page rank, focus on what page your site is showing up when searched. For traffic to grow, you need to be easy to find! Getting your site up as soon as possible will help with the site age factor in SEO.

Invest time and effort researching how to get Google, MSN, Yahoo, and other search engines to list your site on the first pages of a search. Once your site is set up and ready, move on to the next site and wait. You can always go back and update as your skill and knowledge increases. Keyword tweaking may also be need.

Don’t wait till the site is perfect…….it may never be! There is a balance between good quality and holding yourself back with perfectionism.

I have to admit that I’m impressed that they took the time to read my blog article! I have not made any money with them yet, either!

I’m introducing my oldest daughter to earning some money online. Bob and I started out teaching her how to enter websites in directories. We are both paying her to do that. She’s been doing a great job. I even set her up her own PayPal email so she can send out invoices and receive payment! She is almost 13 and is using her money to get a cell phone.

Last week I hired her go through a blog directory list and compile a list of easy to submit to blog directories with the link to the directory submitting page. This way she can do both blogs and websites for us.
