I certainly couldn’t think of any reasons to Digg. I have little traffic, good content (though nothing extremely outstanding), and I don’t know enough people to ask to Digg a post.
Well, I was talking to my son, Bob, and he asked me if I used Digg? I told him that I didn’t. He said it’s about getting some traffic. There may or may not be money making clicks, but there would be some traffic. He submitted a few posts from Jan’s Group Home Support. He said there were probably some visitors after a couple minutes. Well…….he was right!
For a beginner like me, it was encouraging and motivating. I had started a new blog, Jan Fran’s Redneck Yard, so I tried submitting the posts to Digg. It has just a few posts. One of the posts I submitted was, 16 reasons I know I Have a Redneck Yard, but it got no Diggs…..not surprising. What was surprising is when I checked my stats today (I got back from a 22 hours shift), I had a lot of traffic (for me)! The trouble is, no ads up yet
.I’ll have to get them up tomorrow.
The visitors from Digg are staying around and reading. Now I have to see if I might get a few clicks. I’ll keep you posted.
So if you are starting out looking for a bunch of Diggs, maybe skip submitting. If you want some traffic and need to be encouraged, start submitting your posts right away. It has been the boost I needed.

hey man that’s what I’m doing on my blog, digging and trying to generate some traffic. I don’t have adsense set up yet either!
