Random Posting

Filed under: Blogging, Instructional, WordPress — Jan @ 9:24 am

Does your blog go through periods of near abandonment and then a monsoon-like pouring in of great posts? Readers will visit more consistently if they know there are regular posts.

    Ways to have consistent posting:

    • Hire someone to post once a week-this will assure consistent posting. You can then post at-will and be an addition to consistent posting instead of a hindering it.
    • Post a month at a time-write the posts for a month and edit the post time stamp (Wordpress) so they will automatically post once a week, every other day, or whatever works best for your blog.
    • Hire someone to do the research for a post-often research will hinder regular posting. Take the research and use the information to write your posts.
    • Pre-write posts and save them-you can hire someone to post on a regular schedule if you can’t do it yourself. This is good if you can’t edit the time stamp.

If you really aren’t at a point where you can outsource and still can’t get regular posts up, go into the code for the posts and eliminate the date/time all together. It will keep your blog from having that “abandoned look”.
