To bring a few new visitors and some additional clicks, use the temporary searching for a current season or holiday.
February is Black History Month. I posted a black history time line on Jan’s Group Home Support for the cultural diversity category. Here is from 1600-1800 and 1900 to present. I had an increase in visitors, clicks, and income with Jan’s Group Home Support. When I checked the history of the keyword search with StatCounter. I found that several keyword searches included black history and I was on the first or second page.
I received a comment on Reduce Utility Bills from the writer of a credit card site, that did a great article about paying high utility bills with credit cards, High Winter Heating Bills, Meet Credit Cards. This is a perfect example of a seasonal post. It is also very well written and informative.
When writing for a blog it is easy to get burnt out and get “writer’s block”. Some websites are limited to their target group. Combining holiday and seasonal articles into the topic will give you additional writing topics and increase your traffic.
