Dollar a Day

I did it! For this month (so far) I have averaged a dollar a day, well….$1.09 to be exact. The income came from Adsense, Review Me, and Kontera (in that order). Even without the Review Me income, I have doubled my previous daily average and I am $3 away from having my highest earning month with Adsense. Last year I made $2.63 for all of March!

I have stayed motivated as I struggled along working on making money on the internet. Actually making money is a very big motivator. This is a step towards making enough money to decrease hours at a wage earning job and eventually not having to work wage earning at all!

It is a very happy day for me and there is still about 12 more hours for clicks! By May 2008 I want to receive my second Adsense check from Google. It took me 16 months to receive my first one, when I get one in May, it will be 6 months since that first check. I hope to keep whittling away at the length of time between checks until I get one every month.

I tried adding an Adsense video unit, but I couldn’t get it right. I have a phone conference with Bob Schmuck to help me out with what ever I need tomorrow. I will see if he can help me figure it out. I took down the previous post I had up. I learned that I cannot pick the video, it will be a random video and there should be an ad on the viewer, which I didn’t have, so I know I didn’t do it right!

Music Group-All Time Low

Filed under: Miscellaneous, Personal — Jan @ 1:04 am

I never heard of the music group “ALL Time Low” before Monday when they came into Wal-Mart and bought a couple fish.

These kids were great, they picked a fish missing a fin because they wanted to save it. They then got the fish a friend after discussing if they would get along or the gimpy fish would get picked on. One of the guys (I forgot which one) promised to take the fish when they weren’t on tour.

The fish was going to live on All Time Low’s tour bus with them so these guys then picked out a simple little tank that wouldn’t leak water all over. They even picked out a tank and decorations that matched the tour bus colors!

They said they were going to blog about the fish. I haven’t seen anything on their blog yet, but I will keep an out for it to see how the fish hold up on tour. They joked that they should just ask the fans to bring fish tank decorations to the concerts! They played in town here in Tucson, AZ at the Rialto Theater.

Here’s a video if you want to listen to them.
