There is lots of information on line about the best way to make money from an automated blog without loosing Adsense. I don’t have the time to thoroughly research it, but I do know it is just a “honeymoon” but I’m going to enjoy it while it lasts! Here is my plans and purposes for my blogs
Purpose of the blogs:
- Provide “basement” (back links) links to my first house that I’m building. My first “house” in my “neighborhood” I’m developing is for Jan’s Group Home Support.
- Jump-start my income on line. The blogs got me to my second $100 with Adsense so I can get a check next month and I still have rest of the month to add to the total of that check!
- Try out alternatives to Adsense for income.
- Find out which blogs make the most money and then develop those keywords.
6-7 week plans for the blogs
Week One-
For each blog I’m doing the following:
- Income tracking-create Adsense channel for each blog. Since I want to track the blogs as a group, I gave them the same short name and added the numbers 1-10 after each blog so they will show up together on my reports. I added the code for each channel to each of the Adsense ads
- Traffic tracking-I added a stat counter on each blog. I gave them the same names as the Adsense channels
- Back links-I added links to the sites I want to support on the floors above the basement. For now I included “roof” site since my house is at the beginning stages. Later I will have that site alone at the top with all the other ones linking up to it similar to a pyramid shape
- Name each blog
- Create a folder for each blog and put in the “basement” folder for the house
- Put a reminder on my Google calendar to take down the Adsense Ads
Week Two-
- Affiliates-choose three per blog, pick type of add, and safe code in folder
- Shopping Ads-add one ad to each blog
- Glance through posts to and save sites that can be a good resource in the future
Weeks Three and Four-May 25-
- Start putting alternative ads on blogs (starting with ones that make the most money)
Week Four-
- Take down Adsense
- Evaluate income and traffic on each blog
- Pick top three keywords to develop into simple 6 page sites with Adsense and alternative ads
Weeks Five and Six (and maybe Seven)
- Write content
- Buy 3 simple website designs/set up
- Add sites to second floor on house
- Set up ads
