A few days ago, I had a rare Saturday off. I was suppose to go to a friends wedding and help with photographing it. I knew both of them from Walmart. He died after having a heart attack at work (he had the heart attack minutes after I said good bye after my shift ended), a few days before his 43rd birthday on March 18, 2008. It has been really sad. With the other stuff going on in my life, I decided to take the day off and relax.
Some of us at work got a star group named after the two of them and had it dated for the day they would’ve married. She was very touched by it and we both were crying by the time she finished opening the certificates.
Some co-workers are moving out of state so we got together at my house. It was fun. Saturday I slept in and spent some time at home before going to visit my son, his wife, and my grand daughter. She took her first photographs with me! She is just so beautiful and smart. I then went out of town to a little quiet town, Wilcox. It was fun and relaxing. Stopped by Stout’s Cider Mill. Got some delicious fudge and a very heavy apple pie.
I was a little tired going into work today but VERY relaxed. It was nice having a day off dedicated to relaxing. I kept having the feeling I needed to be somewhere. It finally passed and I really enjoyed getting away.
