Stage one-12 posts (one for each month). Those posts should have 4-5 (one for each week) general but related topics writen into the post.

Stage 2-the 4-5 sub-topics will become the weekly posts. The 52 posts should have 2 main sub-topics within them.

Stages 3 (2nd post of week) and 4 (3rd post of week)-expand on the 2 main sub-topics.

Stages 5-8 (4th-7th post of week) can relate to the previous sub-topics or to main blog topic.

This type of blog can easily be turned into a web site when those skills are developed or remain as a blog that will not need updating.

Sitting down to the computer is a time for fun and relaxing for some people. For others, sitting at their home computer is where they conduct their online business. There can be times when the work piles up and nothing is getting done. Potential income is lost.

Most computer desks and files on the computer include three main categories of work to do:

Work that needs to be done or is over due

Work that it should be done

Work for future projects

You may have already read all the self-help books, took ample breaks, removed distractions, and done anything else suggested from self-motivation articles and books. Yet you sit and accomplish very little to nothing on a daily basis.

The first thing to do is to check into your emotional state. The inability to work could be a temporary coping skill to deal with stress in your life or even sign of depression. If your life is going fairly normal with minimal stress, then it could be health related.

Very minimal chance you have a diagnosed illness and you only have a week to live, but little changes in diet and exercise can mean more money on line.

DIET

While most of the world struggles with their diet, internet entrepreneurs tend to not eat and live on energy drinks, finding it difficult to leave their computers. Even if they aren’t getting anything done to make money there are lots of opportunities to be distracted. Take time to eat. Focus on high protien and complex carbohydrates for blood sugar stabilizing (you don’t have to be a diabetic to need to do this). Include fruit, vegetables, and fiber to keep things moving along and reduce energy sapping toxins building up.

GENERAL HEALTH

Prevent common colds and the flu by washing hands regularly. Take suplements to boost your immune system. Keep energy levels high by getting adequate sleep, rest, and exercise. The time used to do that will make the time at the computer more financially productive. Minimize stress in your life.

EXERCISE

Even if your diet is minimal, the lack of exercise and the high calories of energy drinks can still result in a problem with being overweight and also being out of shape. Even if you can’t drag yourself away from the computer, while reading do some arm stretches and exercises. While typing do some leg stretches and exercises. Force yourself to get up from the computer chair and take a walk. Mild exercise can contribute to energy levels and mental alertness.

FUN

Include fun in every day and throughout the day. Even if you stay at your computer, research something you want to research for fun, take a virtual vacation, and maybe play some games. This will also result in increased productivity.

Motivation and productivity isn’t accomplished by list making alone, be sure you include healthy living habits in your day.

It seems like I am constantly getting derailed, off track. I can’t help but wonder how far along I’d be without the big things and small things that come up that can cause a derailment. My serious personal situation that hasn’t been resolved, but was in a manageable mode. It has changed from manageable mode and to the source of a recent derailment. The past week and a half has been consuming, distracting, and emotional with it peaking yesterday. I’m up for another battle to do what is right and what is in the best interest of someone else. There is a split second occasionally when I am tempted to take the easy way out, but it is fleeting and temporary. There is not a single bone in my body that would allow me to choose that path.

Today I let myself get some sleep, write for myself a little, and will be doing some house cleaning while I get ready for some company. I took a few minutes to make a needed phone call relating to the situation. Mostly while my (step) dad is here I will enjoy family and getting the horse he is bringing for us settled. I’m going to take a break from dealing with the situation. There is nothing pressing at the moment that can’t wait until he leaves on Sunday morning.

As I dig in my heals for yet another fight related to this situation, I feel tired and am becoming exhausted. There seems like there is always something that causes a derailment of life as I know it. Not just little things, but over the years its been big things like the situation that I am currently dealing with and the following:

Divorce

Death of my mom

Death of my dad

Son diagnosed with cancer

Possible foreclosure of house

Co-worker’s death

Vehicle accidents

Son moving out of state

Sometimes there isn’t months of dealing with a situation before it occurs, like the death of my dad which was unexpected even though he was sick. With Bob’s cancer, it was nearly a year of dealing with treatment, then it was about 6 months after it was over before things seemed “normal” again. Though there are moments I have felt alone dealing with my situations over the years, I am blessed with a wonderful family and have supportive friends. In this current situation I have needed and relied on each of their unique ways of supporting me. It give me the strength to get back on track yet again.

So as I sit here and write, I have stopped wondering where I would be if I didn’t keep getting derailed and give thanks I am not where I would be if I had decided, even one time, over the years to not get back on track.

I got myself something to eat and was channel hopping as usual and between the election stuff was a lot of doom and gloom over with one financial crisis after another. I can’t hep but wonder how this will affect internet income. My writing business is doing very well, but my other ventures are just sprouting up.

With the recent government buyout, more people are becoming concerned. Over at Wickedfire there was a break taken from the usual party atmosphere over there and this thread, US Gov’t Bailout of Banks, got started. The thread has some enlightening information and informative links.

Wickedfire’s creator had a post back in March of this year, A Recession is Great for Internet Marketing and Internet Advertising Industry.

So what does someone like me who has a limited knowledge of things, think? I believe that there will be some who will bail out of the internet in fear, unsatisfied with the income that is coming in. That space will be quickly snatched up by those who are creative and looking for new ways to bring in some bucks. Sites will need to be relevant today and when things turn back around. It may be awhile, but they will eventually.

An example: Real Estate

Poor economy-foreclosure and bankruptcy related pages

Sales down or stopped-rental and rent to own related pages

Good economy-how to invest in real estate pages

Housing market boom-house buying related pages

All economic times are covered in the same site!

I checked with HR at Wal-Mart to find out what changes occur when I go from full-time to part-time. The main change is that I will not have sick pay and my vacation pay will accrue at a slower rate. When I get closer to going part-time I will find out exactly what I would’ve had for sick and vacation pay. Before I go part-time, I will make sure that I have that equivalent in savings.

At some point, I will figure out what I want my “benefits” to be as a self-employed woman on her way to financial freedom from passive income. I will have my benfits equivalent in its own savings account. My self-employment income goals will not include my benifit package (savings).

For now I’m very happy and excited to have more than the hours I’m cutting back at Wal-Mart covered with the income I’m getting from writing. I’m also looking forward to having more time to write which will increase my self-employment income. With just the work I have now, I’m under my earning potential due to not enough time available.

I can’t work on savings right now due to I’m in desperate need of the income, but that will pass. By the beginning of the year I plan to have one part-time job and writing full-time! By my birthday I plan to have my self-employment benefits package in savings.

I hope to catch up on writing jobs and writing for my own projects. I can hardly wait until Saturday when my hours will be reduced at Wal-mart!
Here is the plan

GOAL-Have a blog with 365 posts (yes…that is one post everyday)

CHOOSE TOPIC-Daily general living inspiration

CHOOSE NAME-Go Forth Today

SET UP

Create a sub-domain on one of my general use domains

Add Wordpress

Chose a WP theme

Change the code to remove the year from each post

Add Adsense and Shopping Ads

PROCESS

Write 12 posts (one per month) before beginning anything

Write 3 more blocks of 12 posts until I have 365 posts

Evaluate

Fine tune

REPEAT

Use final process to make another blog

Add to the process

Keyword research

Traffic

SEO

Once money is being made I will repeat with blogs that have their own .info domain

The blogs that are the most successful will be used as a starting point for related websites and blogs with .com domains

Today I have 4 articles written. I just wanted to get started on something and I can write fast on the topic I chose. I am resisting doing anything else right now so that I can finish up some crafts by Sat and fulfill current writing orders.

Wal-Mart-I’m still waiting for my hours to be cut down so that I can devote more time to writing. Our department moved this week as part of the remodel, so my needs aren’t at the top of list of things to take care of!

Reducing wage earning hours-I found out I can probably keep my medical if I go part-time. I need to get the specifics on what will change. Right now I just need to pay bills. I will eventually have the equivalent of one day a week for 3 months pay saved up before I cut back further. The next step is to have the dollar amount of my benefits covered in writing/internet income and then have the equivalent of 3 months saved before taking the next step.

Personal serious issue-still in “waiting it out” stage for resolve. Doing what I can as I wait.

Personal happy news-moved up a decade with my transportation! I’m selling my 1986 and now have a 1993 :). I just smile as I drive it…..I’m SO happy. The end of next month my (step) dad will be here to visit and with a horse for us to keep here to ride and for my daughter to learn on. He lives in CO and we miss him a lot.

Writing-busy enough that I have not been able to write another package for “Why Wait for Content?” thread. Somewhat impatient waiting for my hours to be cut back on so that I can write more.

My projects-neglected because I’m writing so much for pay and am getting ready for a craft show

Kontera-I increased the density on the number of links and am making money again! I need to make time to request permission for use on a couple more projects.
