An Entrepreneur About to Turn 49
Well, I will be turning 49 on Thursday and with everything going on, I didn’t set any goals earlier for my 49 Day Challenge. Last year was a rough year with working two full time jobs, various losses, and having problems with my oldest daughter that she has chosen not to resolve with me. This year started out with me joining the many whose house was foreclosed on and had to move. I wonder if life will keep being one big challenge after another. I wonder how I get ever invest time in my internet ventures so that they can reach their potential. I wonder if I will ever reach my potential!
With all the stress over the past year and the changes, I thought when it was over I could just jump back into my internet ventures. I tried hard but would fall asleep early and was not able to focus on writing. I was frustrated. What I didn’t realize was that even though I felt ready…….I was not ready just yet. I didn’t give myself time to be renewed, rested, and refreshed. I gave up and stopped fighting a loosing battle. I took a little time and did the following for a few weeks:
- Spent time with family
- Watched some movies
- Took some walks
- Visited with friends
- Got on the internet for fun
- Went to bed early
- Made my new house my home
I set a goal for getting back on previous paths…… it is today! One important path that I was on, was my path to become a full time writer. I haven’t written for awhile and there is of course the drop in income since I haven’t been writing for pay or even myself, but the real loss is the personal sanctification and enjoyment I get from writing.
So now that I have pondered my entrepreneurial life (well, lack of it)…..now what!
Now that I took my entrepreneurial break, I’m hoping the energy will be there to get back and moving again on my paths to finacial freedom!
Well, I have a few goals for today, my day off:
- Write for pay and get some long over due articles out
- Add a few posts to 365 Ways to Save
- Write and accept writing jobs for new clients
So this is my shortened version of the 49 Day Challenge. I guess it is more like a 49 hour challenge until I turn 49! 
One goal I wanted to reach during my 49 Day Challenge was getting another check from Adsense, it has been very slow going since the last one. I finally hit $100 so I will get a check next month . I have been having more steady (though still very small) earnings on my Adsense. There has also been a growing increase.
I’m going to create a big challenge for my last year of being in my 40′s. By 50 I want to see some major advances to being an internet entrepreneur and achieving financial freedom.
For now…..off to writing!
