Here is my 47 Day Challenge from last year. I’m hoping this year for my challenge I can keep up the momentum that I’m starting and have my income have a steady rise instead of a peak and drop until the next challenge!

Here’s how it ended up:

Internet Ventures:

• Launch group home project, Project NP, and project Confetti on April 2-mixed success, I launched Jan’s Group Home Support.
• Prepare my projects for launch, especially the group home project-mixed success due to other projects stared and work lost.
• Do some writing for my own project-successful

Work:

• Maximize hours available at the group homes-successful
• Re-focus and get back on track with Jan’s Writing Services-mixed success, discouraged with hacking and down time
• Improve my working at home routine-successful..now I just need to follow it!

Personal:

• Loose 10 lbs-I lost 2.5 lbs and will continue on this goal.
• Start exercising-successful
• Take care of myself better (eat better, take care of my skin, etc.)-mostly successful, got a little lazy the last few weeks
• Get rid of clutter-in progress, made some headway

When everyone was together on Saturday they took a group shot, my oldest daughter framed it and I got it for my birthday! The 3 kids that live with me made a great dinner of salmon and shrimp. The house got cleaned and they even cleaned up after dinner. The girls got some markers that write on glass and decorated my car and the front window of our house with “Happy Birthday”. My youngest daughter sewed a beautiful mat for my computer table. My youngest son assembled a delicious strawberry short cake desert.

On Sunday when having a beer with a friend for my birthday, I told him about a dog I found that was pretty far away and he offered to take me to pick it up. I had my dog put down in Aug and decided to wait until my birthday to get another dog. I’m pretty excited, I miss having a dog so much I have dreams about having one!

I got calls and cards from family and friends. The birthday wishes from WickedFire members are here in this thread.

I feel blessed and privileged to be celebrating this birthday healthy and happy!

Not only did I have excessive down time with my previous hosting service, I had some overtime with my wage-earning job. I work in a group home and one of the resident’s behaviors got so severe we no longer could provide service to him. Until he was able to be placed with a different service provider, he had two staff with him at all times. It was nice for the overtime, but there was less time for internet projects.

I never made it to see my granddaughter (again ) because she was sick and so was my daughter-in-law. I also had car problems again last Sat. It was an easy fix-the starter modulator. I was at work instead of on the side of the interstate this time! We have plans again this weekend to get together. Bob’s birthday is this week, so his wife organized a BBQ at Bob’s dad’s house (his dad and I get along even though we have been divorced for nearly 20 years!). We are all looking forward to all getting together.

I did loose the weight I gained and am at 136 lbs this morning, which is 3 lbs less than when I started the challenge. I doubt I’ll get to the target weight of 129 by next Monday, but will see how close I can get.

For Jan’s Group Home Support launch, I need to get a flyer done to take to the office. They have a manager’s meeting today and everyone will be at the office and checking their boxes.

I have been setting up future posts that will post every other day. I’ve got 3 weeks of posts set up. I recently had reoccurring training so it gave me a source from some more content on the posts.

I gained 3 lbs! I’ve been lazy with exercise and diet and it shows .

Putting in some overtime and my training classes put me behind on my paid writing jobs. I’m getting caught up quickly. I took a little time off yesterday to work on my yard. We have temperatures in the mid-80′s so I ended up with a little sunburn on my back.

I’m going to work hard on my writing because Saturday I’m going to see my grand daughter, sons, and their wives. Hopefully I make it this time!!
