Many entrepreneurs are looking into e-commerce, it is even more common before the holidays when there is a lot of Internet entrepreneurs looking to make some extra income with the increase in shoppers. There is more to being successful with an e-commerce website than setting up an e-commerce website with skilled marketing, eye catching design, and great products.

Orders and payments will need to be processed. To do so, protected and private information will need to be secure. If this is not something that you can do, you will need to hire someone experienced in making a website secure. You will also need a payment processing company.

The Payment Card Industry (PCI) has guidelines. Complying with these guidelines will prevent the following:

Litigation
Identity theft
Account canceling

The Lawrence of America series premiers on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 @ 11pm ET on the Travel Channel. I was at the Maverick when Lawrence of America was filming at there. The video is dark (at least on my computer), but if you look at the scene where Lawrence is on the bar dancing, there is a hand putting a dollar in Lawrence’s pants……that is my hand!

A new proposed category of mental illness/disorder is “internet addictions”. Psychology with Shannon gives an interesting view on this. Since May in National Mental Health Awareness Month, I had to include this!

I tried adding an Adsense video unit, but I couldn’t get it right. I have a phone conference with Bob Schmuck to help me out with what ever I need tomorrow. I will see if he can help me figure it out. I took down the previous post I had up. I learned that I cannot pick the video, it will be a random video and there should be an ad on the viewer, which I didn’t have, so I know I didn’t do it right!
