Social Networks
Networking is very important for Internet marketing, but it is also very important as an Internet entrepreneur. It is not only useful when you need to outsource, but also for support and encouragement. It is easy to get isolated as an Internet entrepreneur. Most people don’t know anyone personally that is doing the same things that they are.
DAY 28 DEVELOP NETWORKING RELATIONSHIPS
There are many ways to develop relationships online. Joining forums for Internet entrepreneurs, affiliate marketers, Internet marketers, etc. is a good way to get to know other entrepreneurs. Seeing what they are accomplishing can be motivating and sharing what you know can increase confidence. Seeing how other entrepreneurs deal with the highs and lows can help you to ride out the dips that are going to occur.
Choosing a Social Network
Social networks that are specifically for businesses like LinkedIn may not be as large as more popular ones, but they can help you to socialize and network with others who have similar goals and related businesses. The larger social networks like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Youtube, and others can combine your personal network with your business network. Most social networks have a way to promote a business. You may have to look into a couple different ones to find out which one will be most successful.
Control Socializing Online
Just like face-to-face socializing can be distracting, so can online socializing. It is the personal interaction that makes social networking successful, but once your page gets active, you may consider dropping in occasionally and outsourcing daily posts. You can set aside a specific amount of time several times a week to catch up and socialize. Stick with it and then get back to work making money.
